Fairy House Game !

*You don’t need anything to play besides your imagination!
In order to play the game, let's identify a few places:

  • The buildings at the top of the stump are:

    • 1) The Castle - has a balcony in front

    • 2) JuJu's Place -- has an acorn window in front

    • 3) The Gathering Place - this is the largest building on the top and has double front doors

  • The Hobbit House: Look for the round door surrounded by stones on the side of the stump

  • Sprites House: The fairy house at the bottom of the stump

  • The Book Nook: The cave on the stump that has a cushy chair and a stump table


Can you find...

  1. The apple tree?

  2. The door to the secret passage to the castle? Once you find it, describe what you think the passageway looks like.

  3. The tiny fairies that live on the stump (not in the fairy houses on top..but on the sides of stump). Hint: There are 4 ...possibly 5 depending on the day you visit.

  4. The door with a heart shaped window?

  5. Five mushrooms (hint: they are not all in one place and some are very tiny)

  6. Some kitty cats?

How many...

  1. apples are on the apple tree?

  2. stairs does the fairy have to climb to get to 'The Book Nook' from the door below?

  3. ladders can you find?

  4. benches are there to take a rest?

  5. windows are there at Juju's place?

If you lived on the fairy house stump...

  1. and were playing 'hide and go seek' with your friends or family, where would you hide?

What's behind the door?

Select a door on the stump. Imagine the fairy, sprite or woodland creature that lives there. What is their name? What does the inside of their house look like? What do they like to do for fun? Do they have wings? Are they furry or hairy? Do they have brothers and sisters? What is their favorite food?

  2. stairs does the fairy have to climb to get to 'The Book Nook' from the door below? Answer: 15 (debatable--count it out with a friend or family member and let the fairy house maker know what you think)

  3. ladders can you find? Answer: 2 One is near the big acorn (look down and right) and the other is to the left of the big knot

  4. benches are there to take a rest? Answer: 2: One is at the bottom below a window with shutters and the other is behind the gathering place

  5. windows are there at Juju's place? Answer: 8 However, if you included the 4 panes that are in the front door as a window (which is fine), the answer is 9.
