Leo’s Pride started as a simple prayer page for our son, Leo. Leo was born with Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA). At the time of his diagnosis there were no treatments available. Although our hearts were hurting from his diagnosis, Leo was smiling and spreading God’s light from the day he was born. Leo loves all things outdoors, and he is always up for a new adventure with friends and family. He loves fishing, swimming, running, playing baseball and continues to live life to the fullest while having a severe physical disability. He has reminded us all of the most important things in life, and to never take our time together for granted. Leo has continued to inspire and shine a bright light in a world that needs education, advocacy and leaders.
